The Americas Event Manager BM&ID is a dedicated Marcom Employee for the Microbiology & Diagnostics Business Area and will play a central role in the Americas M&ID event organization.

The tasks listed below are to be performed in close collaboration with the local organizations and the other members of the M&D marketing team. The role covers all entities in the Americas M&ID Business Area including support for the Americas Commercial Team.



Responsibilities

    Plan events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives.
  • Communication between organizer/ local sales team, as the central contact point.
  • Organize and coordinate creation by marketing team of Event Landing page/ Registration page/ Save the Date mailer/ Invite mailer/ Program/ LinkedIn posts/ Newsletter.
  • Proofread the above-mentioned marketing work and request RA-approval.
  • Upload of material/ pictures in case of virtual events.
  • Organize logistics of give-aways/ brochures/ roll-ups/ demo equipment etc.
  • Continually seek ways to improve event's and improve return on investment.
  • Organize speaker pre-approval/ invitation/ agreement according to compliance.
  • Set up and test lead capturing tool for live conferences, for example Entergon.
  • Organize webinars by in-house tool (GoToWebinar): setting up/ sending invites/ training(s) with speakers and team/ guidance of the webinar/ cutting recording (/upload)
  • Organize webinars by external companies (e.g. Labroots):
    setting up program/ contacting speakers and collecting speakers' CV and presentation info/ getting RA-approval of promotional material/ sending invites internal and external/ collect registration lists and upload to SFDC.
  • Create corresponding campaigns in SFDC, prepare post-event reports/ dashboards.
  • Organize lead follow-up activities together with marketing team.
  • Ensure adherence of event budget (checking organizer offer/ checking invoice/ tracking in SFDC/ budget shifts)
  • Develop event feedback surveys.


Qualifications

Qualification Requirements

  • A degree in event management, marketing, communications, or business
  • Experience in medical device marketing, including knowledge of regulatory implications a major plus.
  • Demonstrable experience of running events from conception to completion
  • Administrative and IT skills (MS Office, with emphasis on Outlook, Word, PPT and Excel)
  • Organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English); ability to speak Spanish/Portugues a major plus.
  • Problem-solving skills and diplomacy.
  • Highly motivated and independent, detailed oriented, and dynamic personality
  • Team player, ability to work well and be flexible within marketing team and other departments.
  • Qualification profile also includes self-motivation, commitment and a positive attitude.

  • Remote office, must live near a major airport
  • Travel expected up to 20% of the time (to other Bruker sites and to attend select events)
