Culture of Giving

Partners in Giving

Our “Partners in Giving” program lets Varian employees in the United States support their favorite charities and educational institutions through matching donations from Varian. Employee gifts are matched dollar-for-dollar up to a total of $10,000. Our Volunteer Time-Off Policy (VTO) enables all U.S. employees to support activities that enhance and serve communities in which we live and work. We extend similar giving traditions to other locations and offices around the world.

Community Giving

We give back to the community in several ways throughout the year. Varian sponsors the annual American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk, in which employees join together to raise funds and show support. Each year local offices worldwide hold food, toy, and blood drives to support their communities and help save lives.
